Biggest concern for the season ?

Is it the new offense ?
Is it the new defense?
Or a position ?
Kicker ?
Secondary?
I know already a lot of people are going to talk about the wide receiver room which I understand
But other than that what’s your biggest concern.

None of the above.

The biggest concern is the same one that was the biggest reason the team tanked last year.

Injuries, mainly injuries to Jayden Daniels.
I think Jayden didn’t look great against GB.

So my concerns are mainly with our new coordinators. Playcalling and scheme, probably in that order.

Yeah, I think that defenses solved Kliff and once the key was found pretty much every defense tried the same thing. Still, the offense was actually not "BAD" last year considering the injuries. But the combination of knowing how to counter the read option and the injuries made it really hard for the Commanders to win against any kind of good defense.

yes to all
1. defense has somehow gotten progressively worse, turnover in players/ coordinator - to poor results, this better be a bounce back year
2. Offense - is the team surrounding their QB with enough weapons and the right Coordinator
3. Kicker - can he play center in a pinch?

The defense is still the biggest question mark for me. I think they should be better than last season, but better enough to make a difference in games where the offense isn't humming? Not sure.

I know Jayden Daniels health is the next obvious one but I see his injuries last year as more systematic failure than him playing reckless or making bad decisions on the field and I think another season and offseason behind him combined with an improved O-line, my worries about that have decreased.

With the news coming out today about the TE coach do we need to be worried about the culture within the organisation ? Or at least the level of due diligence during the hiring process ?

Until proven otherwise, I'm going to remain concerned that the lack of size/talent at CB is going to sink the defense and therefore the entire team. Amos not practicing 8 months after a broken fibula means that there is something much, much, much more going on than meets the eye.

If they can't hold up enough outside, they're going to have to get home on every pressure. They won't, and they'll get eaten up by good receivers and offenses.

I'm not concerned with Daniels health. I'm in the minority. He's been durable for his entire college career + rookie season, and played through the broken ribs. I think last year was a perfect storm of bad. I think he'll be fine this year.

I generally don't worry about injuries. Most of them are just random. You can't do anything about them.

Having Amos as a cheerleader, and 2 undersized shrimps as part of your top 3 available CBs? That's a concern.

A week or so of camp. Amos is still on PUP.

(Checks...) Yep. My major concern has not changed.

Though stupid lack of depth at Center has creped up to #2.
