Well, he’s got the next 3 years to show his worth for a major contract, and still get paid insanely well while doing so. Hard for me to sympathize. You say that from where you sit. But if you were where he is, you’d probably feel similarly.

Sorry to hear that. These guys work hard and are nitpicked to death by all of us. It’s okay to understand they are privileged while acknowledging they are human.Well, he’s got the next 3 years to show his worth for a major contract, and still get paid insanely well while doing so. Nope. He may be local but apparently he grew up a Ravens fan so I’m guessing he doesn’t like our team very much.My guess is, local kid Delane wanted to come to D.C. and was disappointed we didn't (somehow... how?!) beat the KC trade offer and go to 6 for him.
Hall of Fame careers are fueled by anger like that. And in his case, I think it's fair to be angry.Bain such an angry young man.
Terry McLaurin - pick #76 overall.Again, IMO there will be a WR between #71 and the end of Round 7 that comes in and contributes in 2026.
I don't know which guy it will be but every year you see a guy taken in Round 5 or 6 that comes in and surprises people by being a bit quicker on the field than he showed in the Combine 40 or is able to separate using route running skills that were underestimated coming out of college.
Romeo Doubs was a fourth round draft choice and the Patriots gave him $97M.
Puka Nakua was taken in the fifth round by the Rams.
One of the guys out there in free agency that Washington may end up interested in, Jajuan Jennings, was drafted in Round 7 by the 49ers.
You don't need a #1 pick to get a productive WR.
Yessir! That was also a strong draft with a hell of a WR group, but you are correctTerry McLaurin - pick #76 overall.
What's funny about picking McLaurin in 2019 is that Dwayne Haskins' 'mentor' Shawn Springs complained about the fact Washington 'didn't go out and get the quarterback any wide receivers' in the offseason.Terry McLaurin - pick #76 overall.

Yeah, but corners are always arrogant weirdosDelane comes across as a punk.
The draft thread should be the draft threadI’m nobody but personally I disagree with this. I didn’t even like the pre-draft Day 2 + Day 3 threads lol, but I’m a mega thread purist. One thread left open in a tab for months, just refreshing over and over again. That’s how I do it.
But seriously, these draft threads are like historic living documents. I like being able to reference them in their entirety in future years, and mourn the loss of thousands of pages of that history from the other site where many of us did this every year forever. Splitting all the conversation, debates, rankings, etc. up into different threads kills that imo.
But again, not my site not my choice lol. Just expressing an opinion
