The Rookie
Settle has definitely added weight. There is our new NT at a good price.
I would. Keim referenced it in one of his last podcasts but he meandered a bit on the point so couldn't quite get the conclusion
If Sainristil is going to play on the outside and Robertson is going to play inside then the size factor works for him but again from an eye test perspective I don't remember him playing very well in games I watched of the Lions from the past couple of years.I can't speak to his talent level, but I do worry about the size. He's the same height and weight I am for God's sake and there are some pretty big WRs in the NFC East.
Certainly one way to view it. I can't explain the dip this year in Jax... but he had the 8th most yards of any rookie WR in history, so I think it's reasonable to see his value as having been retained. I would also highly value the 2nd and 3rd picks as I'd expect them to eventually be cost controlled starters.
I have no idea if they are in on Tate at #7.... but if they are, I'd take the deal I pitched 10 times out of 10.
Of course I'd also be fine with additional draft capital above a 2nd and 3rd coming back. If Jax is super desperate, I'd trake full advantage!
Keim?! Meandering?!?I would. Keim referenced it in one of his last podcasts but he meandered a bit on the point so couldn't quite get the conclusion

Butt…. How are you at corner?I can't speak to his talent level, but I do worry about the size. He's the same height and weight I am for God's sake and there are some pretty big WRs in the NFC East.
I like it, that would upgrade the defense on all three levels........but damn it would be hard to pass on Love if hes there at 7I’m all in on Devin Lloyd now. Add him and draft Downs and the D has been seriously revamped.
I thought I was reading a couple of weeks ago that Payne was going to come back and he had a handshake with the front office that he wasn't going to ask for an extension but they weren't going to cut his salary for 2026. Did anyone else read that?
He’s due a $5m roster bonus very soon too.Yeah, but that just means they told him it’s status quo and they’ll let him play out the contract. It’s not a blood bond, they can trade the dude if they wish

LockdownButt…. How are you at corner?
With Armstrong coming back its safe to say we definitely upgraded the defensive line today......I don't think many realize how much it hurt losing Armstrong early in the seasonBe curious to see of we sign a Fullback at all. Or if they let Sinnott handle it like the Lions did with their TE's. I think that is a role Sinnott could do pretty well at. We still need a WR, TE and MLB. I am pretty happy with the defensive front with the additions of Oweh and Settle. Also getting Armstrong back heathy should help.
