I am happy we didn't dip into this OC candidate pool:
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Chiefs are requesting to interview Bears RB coach Eric Bieniemy for their offensive-coordinator vacancy.

I am hoping but also believe that Blough is going to know his role as OC out of the park.

Keyboards should be mashed. Is Darnell Stapleton the best proven OL coach available? Maybe he is - but there's no evidence of it, just like with Blough. More dice-rolling.

We'll see how it works out. Clearly, continuity was important. I see the logic on both sides--a familiar, well-liked (per Jhabvala, the players like Stapleton) voice, already familiar scheme, personnel; vs. a new voice with more experience.

I mean, what else is she going to say?

I could kind of care less about 'well liked'. How about proven, competent, innovative, experienced... I like those words. We'll see. Get used to that phrase because so far that's the best anyone can offer up.

I hope he can make Coleman a better LG. Unless of course we can't sign Tunsil then he becomes our starting T

I know that this is the Blough thread but I had to put it in here: Our next DC is going to be Jason Simmons Defensive Pass Game Coordinator. A promotion from within.

Lol. Okay man.
No you're right...an experienced coach here has always been beneficial...
