Hell with it... The only time we ever beat the Chiefs was in 1983, so we're due right? Right?...
Wash- 30 on a last minute FG

Only inside 40 yards though…Last second FG? That's sooo Gay.
I hope they play a good game for you.
I remember the last KC game I went to (@ FedEx), it was freaking freezing and we (my 2 bros and I) had paid for Dream seats. We watched the whole game. We saw our guys get mad at our fans, I think it was mainly Santana. Not sure I remember what predicated it, but there was a mountain of negativity, wow, and it was freezing. Did I mention it was cold? Anyway, in some ways still, I really like that I supported the team in that situation (tough circumstances all around, they got demolished). Some may say it's a waste of money, it's just a team, and I certainly try to be careful with how I spend. Still, stuff like that gives me a little rush, just feeling like I am rooting on the team I have always supported (through thick and thin) for as long as I remember.
Good luck to you and the team!
We also go Jonathan Jones back week even though limited. They are slowly getting the bang back togetherSam back last week. Terry and Deebo back this week, combined with the Chiefs probably halfway sleeping on us, Mariota having a ton of experience as the starter now, and all of our coaches seemingly doing a self check after the Dallas game, I could see us jumping out on the Chiefs and at least playing respectable enough to give the fan base some hope for the rest of the season, even if we have to play some near perfect ball. We are capable.
Yea, I said "and some others" when I wrote that in another post because I was referring to him. That's big.We also go Jonathan Jones back week even though limited. They are slowly getting the bang back together
Tell me your team is old without actually saying it. (Credit to Wagner for almost never taking rest days.) One would think that 3 consecutive days without practice would be sufficient enough.
The crazy thing is that I live in Oklahoma City and we probably have more Natives here in Oklahoma than anywhere in the Country and every single one of them I asked said they were not offended and took pride in our team. They said that it was something positive for them that people around the Country saw them in a good light and brought attention to them. The last one I talked to said that he doesn't really like us anymore because we changed itThe real stab in the heart on Monday night will be right before the game starts, seeing Chiefs fans dressed in headdresses and war paint, chanting and doing the chop while the war drum beats in the background.
We had an actual Blackfoot Chief on our helmet, a marching band and sang Hail to the Redskins after scores yet we get told Native imagery is offensive.
I'd like to punch Roger Goodell right in the nose.......

11 - 6 or 12 - 5 . . . lmao . . . we will be 3 - 7 after the next 3 games. To have any chance we would have to win out after that and hope others lose and that 10 - 7 get you in. Most likely not happening!!Yea, I said "and some others" when I wrote that in another post because I was referring to him. That's big.
Our problem is that we have a brutal schedule and soon we will basically have to run the table. I actually think that we are capable but it's going to be hard. The Bears loss may come back to bite us and we miss the playoffs by one game or a tie breaker when we are red hot, just like the Bengals did last year.
Looking at the standings, the whole NFC almost has 2 or 3 losses. The 7th seed has 2 losses so I just don't see 10-7 getting in this year and it's getting close to where I'm thinking that even 11-6 might not get you in. Even if it does, I don't see us winning the tie breaker because we will have all of our losses against the nfc except for probably the chiefs.
We might get lucky at 11-6 but it's starting to look like 12-5 which means we would have to win out after the Chiefs game if we lose. The NFC is a gauntlet this year. Ugh, this start was a killller. This season has also gone by faster than any season I can remember in history. It's about to be halfway done and it feels like we haven't even really gotten started.. Smh.
Not to derail a thread, but living next to OK and having two NA friends (small sample size I know) they say the same thing . I always tell my kids "life is not fair." What I don't tell them - there is unfair and there is bullThis was also my experience when I lived out west, and I’ll add that Oklahoma means “red people.”
It's easy to see one team playing bad and another team playing well and assume that's how things will play out but there are a ton of moving factors and momentum can swing really quickly.
