Here's what my stadium expert buddy says re the Nixon pic

I believe your photo could be Legion Field in Birmingham, AL. A dude is wearing an “A” ballcap, although there are many A’s out there. My next clue is the elevated press box. Below is a photo of the press box at Legion Field where Alabama played most of their “home” games in the 1960s, the height of Bear Bryant’s national championship dynasty. The heavy attire tells me this may have been late in the season, perhaps against rival Auburn. Nixon was probably campaigning for 1968.

I dunno, seems like a stretch considering all the political famous people. Anyway, doesn't look like a Redskins game, right? Nice try, Washington Post!

I hang out with goskins10 (from ES) a lot and I remember texting him upset about that trade. He assured me that we needed to do it, yada yada.

I'm still upset.
 
Tell goskins10 to get in here, that we miss him.. and please dont lose any sleep about Jahan. It wasnt meant to be for him here and we got good value for someone we didnt want clearly.

Stosh told me everyone on the new ES was asking about me, and I lurked, saw the love, joined. But nothing goes on there at all, so I hang out here. (I didn't even look at the tailgate, if you can believe it.) :ROFLMAO:

I really like the throwbacks pictured below. Washington is the only team (I believe) to attempt to mimic the leather helmets with their throwbacks. Also, the true burgundy of the jersey and the true gold of the uniform numbers is a color scheme I would love to be the norm for this team again.

That was a sharp wearing uniform. I actually bought one. Unfortunately, I don't know that I've worn it. It was an RGIII. I was so confident after that rookie season. I was so sure he was going to come back after that injury and we were going to finally see good days.

I bought the 10 Elite. *I know the "jersey girl" here in town.* I only wear it to games here nowadays, but that season I slept in it . Got a really crappy photo of me in it with my grandkids on a Sunday morning.

She also sold me a throwback Doug Williams that I donated to Abby's Army for auction. Abby's dad sent me a pic of her wearing it, that was awesome.

Her name is Vicki, she's here in ATL. I'm moving, and her card is somewhere. She brought me RGIII's Baylor stuff too that day just in case. My friends got Matt Ryan stuff, LOL.

She's got the goods. May be on Google?

Nah, I'm a local here now, been here almost 36 years. Just selling my house kind of moving. (too old for all these stairs just to get to the bathroom, LOL)

My favored uniform is better even if it is size-ironic. When I go to games I sport Joe Jacoby (I'm 5'6 and about 170)

So were Vic Fangio and most other NFL DC’s they played this year. And by that I mean they were all outclassed by an offense with superior talent.

By the way, the game you’re referring to we had 4 turnovers on offense leading to that final score.

When will you start acknowledging the talent gap with these teams? It’s exhausting. It’s like all your posts have this massive blind spot.
