It absolutely does.
I had a buddy of mine telling me bo nix was gonna win rookie of the year and after showing him how jaydens stats are better in almost every category and how he led his team to an 8 game improvement i added that he's the guy who's had all the hype all season, that's gonna matter.

PFF grades Dejean way higher overall, and in pass coverage, and in run defense. I wonder WTF they are seeing.

Well, it's tough. If guys never throw your way, does it make you a worse CB if you don't get PD stats? That was always the Darrell Green problem. "Anyone but Darrell" would get mountains of balls thrown their way, if it was Wilburn, Mayhew, whomever... but everyone knew who the #1 CB was even if the stats wouldn't show up. He just wasn't getting thrown at generally.

Perhaps they are basing it on stuff that doesn't show up in normal stat sheets (but do get tracked in some places). Not sure.
