These domestic terrorist incidents are so frustrating. I remember working in a news station and getting so many different reports about the who and the why within minutes of the event. You had to talk about it, but there was also this weight of responsibility not to misreport the situation. You didn't want to be the one to redirect the anger at anyone especially innocent groups. Unfortunately, I predict that we're going to be seeing many more of these incidents. I think it inevitable if there is a mass pardoning of hate group members as this had been part of their MO before. Worse, I think they might feel empowered and encouraged to act out even if that is not the intention of the pardon.

As horrible as all of this is I have to give credit to our intellgence agencies. I don't know too many people who believed after 9/11 that there would not be another major terrorist attack by now.

I sometimes wonder about how many attacks they've stopped. I bet the number would scare us all.
 
I can't discuss terrorst attacks when it's so beautiful outside. So I'll just post this picture instead.

I can understand that. But living in Maryland we don't get a lot of it so it's a big deal when it happens. I will always consider walking a dog in the woods with a beer after a snowfall to be one of my favorite things to do in life.

I honestly miss it. I'm sure my old bones would feel it, but I'd love to play in the snow.
 
Snow is great. It's ice that's the problem.

That and stupid drivers, but you find those in every weather condition.

My best friend has a lakehouse in the Poconos. I've been ice fishing several times. Only he had a hand auger which was a bitch. But I did enjoy it, a lot, as we both love to fish.

I totally understand. It's been down to 50s and 60s here and I am cold...wearing sweaters, heat on, socks on etc. I am now fully adjusted to Caribbean weather. My girl is in the Dominican and I love the heat. Before that I spent a lot of time on the Colombian coast.

My door is always open for the BOG family here in Miami. All are welcome. We can cook, eat, drink and listen to music. My stereo system ain't shabby! 🤣🤣🤣

We've got about 4 inches on the ground here. Working up the nerve to go throw some pork butts on the smoker...
 
The pipes to the kitchen sink froze, a foot underneath the kitchen cabinet. An indoor pipe that does not even touch the outside wall on a night when the low was only 19. I'm still wrapping my arms around this, no wonder this old farmhouse is so freaking cold in the kitchen.
