I'm trying to be optimistic, it's not a quality I posses often with this team but I'm struggling through it.

There is a difference between optimism and tempting fate.

Maybe your lack of experience with optimism has lead you too far.

“I think we should win for these reasons” is optimism.

“We’re going to crush the falcons” is asking for fate to crush your balls.

I also have a friend who's a huge falcons fan, when they were 6 and 3 he was nauseating to deal with, just wouldn't stop.

After their shit streak he's gone quiet but if they beat us I'll never hear the end of it.

On the other hand if we win he'll be dealing with 2 legit 2 quit for at least a month.
