Probably correct. He wasn’t smart enough to realize that though and his declaration ‘We will never change the name’ guaranteed he would be blamed for it by fans.

Is Julie Donaldson no longer with the organization?

Her absence on all of the recent content, like today’s live stream from TC, is conspicuous.
 
Yeah - it’s odd. She’s still listed on the team’s front office page. Could just be vacation season although during training camp that seems unlikely? Hopefully not a health issue.
 


The plans currently are that Donaldson will remain a part of the Commanders Radio Broadcast team, have appearances for the team throughout the year, and will thus be working game days.

Her contract expired after three seasons, regarding her weekly duties, which included hosting and overseeing the direction of the live streams from training camp and “Command Center” shows at the Ashburn facility.

Good. I heard some of the radio broadcasts and she wasn’t good. She would interject some random fact that felt forced and almost like someone pushed a button that said talk now. I’m sure she’s a nice person, but she has the Snyder stain on her and needed to go. I’m not shedding any tears for anyone associated with Snyder that is fired or isn’t let back in the building.
 
I hope the organization has a good replacement lined up. London Fletcher ain’t it.
 
Keep Smoot as the funny guy there to add knowledge but mainly keep people engaged.

I agree1000% However Ill add this , We seem to be living in a society where the minority pushes agendas through that the majority doesn't agree with . Look at Budlight , Target and the rest. If you're going to tell me more people wanted the name change then didn't I don't think I'd believe you. Its a shame !

I'm sorry, but I don't agree. Those "boycotting" companies signed a contract. I did not hear word one about "unless we decide different" or "if we decide we don't like something".

Dan should have fought it and made them honor their contract. Instead he was worried about forcing women to do things and being a scumbag.
 
Perhaps but Cleveland changed ‘Indians’ a short time before Washington.

Other than Chiefs I don’t see another visible team referencing native Americans unless it is like the Seminoles or Blackhawks where they are getting a revenue share for the use.
