So...chugging right along with the weight loss, I am now dealing with the worst back pain I have experienced since my surgery 10 years ago. UGH!

Waking up in the middle of the night now having to take ibuprofen and stretch for 15-20 minutes to get some relief.

Still hovering around the 250 mark, trying to break into the 240's for the first time in over 5 years.

Still down 75 pounds!

Boone, how is your recovery from surgery going? You are about 6 months in now?

I still have a tiny bit of numbness in my left forearm hand but it seems to be subsiding. Other than that I feel great!

Seriously - I recommend the Teeter Inversion table. I think it is really helping me. They are pretty affordable.

Yeah, I have been meaning to get one, I used to have one when I lived in Florida and used it frequently...well, my room mate had one I used frequently.

That and yoga have been the only real relief for me.

So I just want to give express my tremendous gratitude to Chris for coaching me through this. I was going to wait until I hit my overall goal of losing 100 pounds, but at 80 pounds down...I just felt like saying it now.

Thank you, Chris!

It’s all you, B. Great commitment and discipline. 👊🏼

Two a days again. Right now I'm loving it, but I loathe getting up at 0500. Always have. But. I know it sets a great tone for the rest of the day so I need to keep at it as long as I can.

11 months ago Brian/Elephant reached out to me for my assistance in helping him to lose weight and improve his physical condition. At that time he was tipping the scales at 327 lbs.

I am very happy to report that due to his impressive commitment and coachability he is now a svelte 222. 🥳

That’s impressive - and I’m sure you had everything to do with it. I turn 60 in April and am going to be the best me possible going forward. My attitude will still suck, but physically I am going to bring it.

He really did a great job, all credit goes to him.

Nothing sums up diet and training advice better than ‘you can lead a horse to water but…’

Lol. Go for it, kiddo. 😉

Even with a lot of weight loss; the. Eliptical just hits really hard in the soul.

This was my first time back on the rowing machine after my head injury. I smell metal (which is better than the usual nothing) and I have zero headache...just winded and bummed I only did this little amount. Motivation for tomorrow!!

Go get ‘em Mike

I have been back to southern Florida for about a week after 6 months in Helsinki.

Running in this heat and humidity is a bitch. My heat acclimation is still only at 51%. 🥵

I used to be a very avid golfer, playing rounds 3-4 times per week. I hadn’t, though, touched a club in about 15 yrs until last night.

After about 20 shots I was absolutely striping ball after ball of high cut fades with a 4 wood.

Muscle memory is real and it is spectacular.

Trying to break my PR of a 5k on the elliptical is kicking my butt. I gave myself three days off to be plenty rested but I can't break 16:00.

I don't have delusions it will be normal or easy to get to, I'm just trying to see if I can make it.

I went once today for a 5k and got 18 minutes. I was pissed so I decided to go again while my boy is at practice. Soooooooooo close!

Creeping closer!! I felt that one and thought I had it.

So. I'm now trying to get in 15k steps per day. Pretty much get it or more every day except days I drink a lot the night before lol. Which is only one or two nights

But, I've started doing pushups once an hour, every hour, for 10 sets. Started off with using my desk, then some from my knees. Then finally getting 10 in a good form.

Now I'm up to 15 per set. I feel even better, I'm doing curls and shoulders on the half hour between pushup sets, and I really feel it.
