In typical Redskins fashion, I think they show up this week regardless of who is under center in a situation where much of the fanbase has lost faith in them.

It's just what they usually seem to do.

I think we will be in a tight game that will come down to the last 2 or 3 minutes of the ball game.

I hope we get the good version of Dustin Hopkins because I think we will be calling on him to come through in the clutch.

I am predicting Redskins 20 - Eagles 19.

I'm setting the Over/Under on how many times during the broadcast a talking head says something clever and original like, "Well, no one seems to want it, but someone will win the NFC East tonight!," at seven.

Fletcher Cox - Day to Day

If he's Day to Day on Friday, i don't see them pushing him to play...

This is my biggest concern, we s*** the bed on night games,

The performance of the team on Sunday will (imho) be a bigger testament to Rivera's influence on the culture of the team, than his handling of Haskins.

If this team comes out and wins a game that we've almost always lost in the past because "Redskins gone Redskin" then you can truly look at the team and feel that it's different. We've had week 17 win and in situations that we've won like over the Cowboys in 2015 (ironically that game was also played on Jan 3) but that was at the tail end of a streak. Did it in 2012 (also against the Cowboys) but again, that was a long win streak to get us in.

THIS team has stumbled the last 2 weeks. They're not riding the momentum of a miraculous win streak to get into contention. This Sunday will be telling. If we LOSE, I don't write the season off as a failure, because we shouldn't even be here.

If we show up and win this game, Rivera can CEMENT himself as a franchise changing coach and check another box of proving he's not just the same old thing as before.

Alex Smith on sideline - not stretching with the team

That is one box left unchecked, still time but him practicing today would have instilled a lot more confidence.

No McLaurin at practice either

Terry, Ryan Anderson, and Thad Moss working off to the side

Al Galdi had Heineke’s college coach on (believe it was hour 3 of today’s show?). Pretty interesting stuff. Guy might be a hidden gem and apparently Turner really likes him.
