Not to be too much of a downer, but I suspect firing Allen and/or Gruden isn't going to help any more than firing Cerratto and/or Zorn did.

I'm torn between getting what we can for him in trade or telling him to honor his contract & letting him sit 2 years. The skins should ask for a 1st rounder, or at least the picks to equal a high 1st rounder. If that doesn't happen he accrues fines, cobwebs, and a reputation that he cannot honor the contract he signed.

Hopefully the skins and browns are working on that 1st for Trent as we speak.

If he won't honor his contract, then I don't care to see him play for the Redskins again. The team has stood by him when he did some pretty stupid stuff. Unless this is some serious grandstanding on his part, the team needs to either trade him or let him sit and keep fining him. I'm fine with either as long as he supposedly has this attitude. And even if he doesn't have this attitude, he's not with his teammates working hard to get ready for the season. He certainly doesn't have their backs.

One question though. Do we know the source of this story? The last time there was a big to do about the Redskins, the source was one of Chris Russell's hot takes on the radio. Another media outlet ran with that as actual confirmed news and it oon blew up into a national story just from one blowhard giving his opinion. Do we know if that is the case here?

If it weren't for the value side of the equation (i.e., get something while you can)...I'ld sit his arse for the remaining two years of his contract. TW.......have fun two years out of the league and coming back at 33 without any contact for a long time.

I understand this sentiment. I really do. It's how we feel as fans. The problem is that the team can't make decisions out of spite. They have a responsibility to make the right decisions for what is best for the team. We know the history of this owner and his goons and we know of the times they acted out of spite. I'm sure he felt like a real man doing it too. Yet it hasn't once helped the team. They have to find a solution that helps the team.

I'm not saying they should cut him for nothing or trade him right away. They can sit him until they get a good return. But they have to make a decision that gets some return for him if he's not coming back.

Just settling in watching the clown-show that is this year's version of the Skins. I realize not starters......but they don't even look like a semi-pro team.
