Free Agency, Mock Drafts, Camps, Roster Predictions, 2018

Does Alex need a Tyreek Hill in Washington ?
Looks like the answer is a resounding No

FYI...

The off-season blog has evolved to what it is today and I think it works well. Let me know if you want to see any changes to it or any improvements for the next off-season. The final entry in this off-season blog will come late in the week just prior to the first regular season. At that time we will post a first ever for the blog - a dedication to someone special.

Instead of doing weekly in-season blogs, BBQ will have one in-season blog with weekly entries and much more. The weekly grades will continue along with bye week news and a mock after eight games. Let me know what you think of this idea and if there are any improvements and/or changes.

I was just looking at that roster prediction in that article, and I was thinking it's too bad that a guy takes up a roster spot, if all he does is long-snap.
If only that was something a backup lineman could learn.

That is a good observation. The long snapper is a highly valued position (not necessarily in terms of huge contracts), but I agree with what you say. It's one of the easier jobs in the league for a football player. Nice gig if you can get it.

To me, it seems like most season-ending injuries that occur before the season starts, mostly occur very early in camp.
Makes me think maybe that either the team or the individual players either start off too quickly, or aren't properly physically prepared,
I wonder if McGee's injury helps Taylor's chances.

It helps to play a preseason game against the Pats - guaranteed national broadcast. A week from Thursday.
