If Doctson is healthy you've got him at 6-2, Pryor at 6-4, Jordan Reed at 6-3, Vernon Davis at 6-3. Lot of big targets.
 
What's the consensus on this one BB? Obviously they are in need of WRs and he was the biggest fish left in the pond.

Had a friend make an interesting statement. He feels we should go ahead and trade Cousins. His reason is doesn't trust Cousins to give 100% effort this year and will play it safe to keep from getting injured.

I can see this. Chances are Kyle has told him play out this season here and see you next March.

So what incentive does he have? Padding his stats won't get him any extra $ from SF.
 
Kel, this is a clear win for the Redskins. No need to draft a receiver in the first three rounds now. WalterFootball gave it an A+ and I agree.
 
I thought the reason he didn't scramble more last season, even with the coach practically begging him to, was he was trying to protect himself. i.e. not giving 100%

#8 is as much a mercenary as any other player in the league not named Brady.
 
Pryor is great. A true number one WR. A little unpolished on some routes as he hasn't played the position very long, but he has everything else.

I see where you are coming from, but one quick point. If Kyle talked to him in anyway, that is tampering. He's under contract with the Redskins. The exclusive tag prohibits that. But your overall point is a good one and why I've said it's a much riskier move for him to play under the tag this year.

Several reports are saying the deal for Pryor is actually $6M. It contains an extra $2M in likely to be earned incentives that are not likely to be earned. That allows for the $2M to be carried over to the 2018 cap.

Eagles DT Bennie Logan visiting Skins tonight and Saturday. We bag him and we've had a pretty solid FA guys. All is not lost. Make it happen! Picking up in-division talent is always a plus.

FYI...

Dan Snyder has no desire to trade Cousin Kirk to a team coached by a Shanahan. True story. Over in BBQ, that small time pundit still maintains that KC was never a target to be traded and continues to maintain said stance. He and Chad Ryan would disagree. Let's see who ends up being right - the Aussie or the small time pundit.
