Kirk Cousins Development Tracker

That's an embarrassing post.

no..it's not. what's embarrassing is how emotions take over looking at an event from all angles.

even more embarrassing...for others...is the fragility of personalities when confronted with differing points-of-view. it's a response mechanism that can be counted on, like clockwork, from many in the madding crowd. I get that crowd sourcing ideas operates on multiple planes and has a logic all its own that isn't necessarily conducive to balance or objectivity.......but that is where society is headed.

come on guys, this is a football forum, quit making me google every stinkin' word in your posts just to figure out what you're talking about ;)

That's utter BS Al. You're just being a pain in the ass for the sake of being a pain in the ass.

Whatever floats your boat buddy. That was a great play by Cousins (and the fumbled snap may well have been on the center, not that it matters since Cousins heads-up play made it moot).

not the point I'm making Boone.

the praise has been excessive. my opinion. has it gotten to the point that different opinions aren't tolerated?

I suppose there has to be...at some point...the equal and opposite reaction. not my style.

just as I won't be online two minutes after the fact wailing away about a lopsided Falcon offensive production. it's a building process underway. I don't plan on going too far in either direction when it comes to calibrating expectations to the latest cycle in the seesaw.

If you continue insinuating alternative viewpoints are squelched here, I'm going to give you a timeout. It's false, so stop implying it please. If you want to wallow in misery I can't stop you. Just remember last fall it was you lecturing me on my hyper-negativity.

Nah, Tom, it was an oblique reference to a favorite character of mine in Candide inspired by previous comments.:devilish:

Your obtuseness and ambiguity towards the callousness of thine fellow thespians doth render me utterly inarticulate.

What? It's not about Doc Martin....?
Crap, probably has nuttin' to do with Candid Camera and Allen Funt either, I bet.

What's triangles, rough skin, gay gals, cow sacks and stiff joints have to do with anything?

Kirk did not fumble the snap. Its called a "bad exchange". Happens all the time. It takes two to make a bad exchange. Not to be confused with a fumble. When a QB hands off to a running back and it falls to the ground, its not a fumble, its a bad exchange.

Kirk's heads up play was reminiscent of Luck's bad exchange last year at the 5, where he picked it up and headed straight through the line and jumped into the end zone. Because Kirk had the ball at the 1, that couldn't happen, but he did make the right call (yes Al fan it was "decisive") to plough straight ahead. Other QB's would have just fallen on it and wasted a play.

Life is best enjoyed as an emotional journey. Though sterile analytical evaluations have their place, this is football. A voluntary entertainment pursuit.

Though never thought of as the rose-colored glasses type, I can certainly appreciate a good performance, even an unexpected one, when it presents itself. To me, Cousins performed admirably. He was not perfect, but then no one else on the field or the sidelines were either. The microscope is simply larger for his position.

No, this is ...

Depending on which monkey this could be a good thing.
