And that was actually running on the "stronger side" of our Line.
Very disappointing.
Not sure I liked the call on 4th, because we need as many reps at FG's as possible, for these 2 kickers to get a fair and thorough competition

reminds me so much of last preseason. we won those games....but looked inept the whole time. the overall discipline is improved this time around. but I'm sensing the same talent deficit - specifically on both lines. for that matter...maybe once in a while a db will actually break up a pass! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

is the world coming to an end? no.

but they do look average. were the Browns QB'd by even a marginal passer who can lead a receiver - the Skins are way behind.

not impressive all around.

Are we watching the same game? Our Offense is learning a new system, which hopefully accounts for the absurd amount of flags; they still made a handful of REALLY nice plays. Especially when you remember that the Cleveland D was pretty damned good last year. Not the scrubs one normally associates with the Brownies.

And our D looked solid for the most part. I'm liking what I'm seeing for the most part. Some ups and downs, but it IS preseason.
 
different strokes for different folks. I'm watching what I believe to be poor QB play, overpowered lines, poor RB blocking, a pass defense in which I saw receivers consistently open, lack of crisp offensive execution, a starting QB still making the same mistakes - only worse play by the Browns QBs have kept it close.

the only real positive has been outstanding special teams play.

learning a new system..yes. getting outplayed by a team physically? not so good.

so...on to B-More and their second rate defense this Sat!

addendum: I do continue to like Ryan Grant. He sustains a high level of performance game to game.
 
Loving this offense! Absolutely stacked at the skill positions.

Okay I'm a Grant and Ross fan to make the team. Kinda feeling these 2 over Tana and Hank actually
