There’s been smoke there for years now. They thought throwing money at it would make the problem go away. It’s also not been all sunshine and rainbows for Deebo in his tenure there. I speculate their issue is with Kyle. He’s the only one on that staff that is untouchable (for now).
In all three of those scenarios I would say that they didn’t shy away at all. Buffalo in fact traded for Diggs. All three examples traded those players away for a nice haul. Buy low sell high. Those franchises have handled divas well. They get production out of them and then turn it into...
Honestly, who cares? We can’t be scared of success, even if it’s only brief for a small piece of the puzzle. If Aiyuk balls out and actually deserves for someone to pay him a significant contract - that would be a fantastic problem to have.
Good franchises handle the divas well. They don’t...
This is a WR group lacking talent and durability. it’s a no brainer that they should take a shot on Aiyuk. That’s not even taking into consideration the relationship with JD5 and Peters. There’s been a lot of drama with Aiyuk over the last couple years. Hopefully that leads to a short deal...
That’s why my original post pointed to next years draft. I’m not playing the hindsight game. We’ve learned this season that JD5 is injury prone. Time may go on to prove that not to be the case, but given the information we have in-front of us, we really don’t want to have to depend on Mariota...
You’re missing the point. I’m worried about JDs inability to be available. Mariota is indeed one of the better backups in the NFL, but at the current rate of injury with JD we are going to need something better than that.
That’s a crushing way to end a season. The part this fanbase should be most concerned with is, that when healthy, JD5 has not played well this season. He’s not been awful, but I don’t think anyone here can genuinely look at his play and say it’s where a franchise QB in year 2 needs to be...
