One of my fellow club level denizens from many moons ago randomly sent me a seating chart with the 2026 season prices. There were literally over 20 different subcategories of pricing for the lower level alone.
Haven't really been around the boards that much lately, but legendary Bulldog's post brought me back to the game which made me a Redskins fan at 6 years old. It was actually December 1973, and my mom and dad were jumping up and down screaming at the TV as Sonny led the comeback and it looked...
Msrk, I didnt go to a lot of games at RFK, but the first three years of Landover I think the band sat in a section close to the field. And jammed during the game and it was definitely a great part of the energy.
Then in 2000 Snyder really started to change things, removing PA guy Phil Hochberg...
Unrelated to the Skinmanders, but does the whining about being "sick of the Chiefs" seem exponentially worse than "we're sick of the Pats" was? And the Brady run was two decades.
Hard to determine what actual capacity is at the stadium. It supposedly got up to close to 92k when Gibbs came back and they installed the dream seats as well as the obstructed view seats on the 200 level, visitors side.
I know that since then they obviously removed a bunch of upper level seats...
And even if you play the song instrumentally at the stadium, half the fans will say Commanders and half will say Redskins. It'll be an abomination like the seating bowl in the club level, where you have a mishmash of red and yellow seats.
I'm one who will still wear Redskins stuff and won't...
Tailgate Ted is a dude who went up there and organized a rally at the Philly Hard Rock Saturday, where he gave a speexh thanking the fans for enduring the Snyder era and claimed that the fans took over the Hard Rock. Someone videotaped his speech and it went viral on several Philly social media...
Yes, we did break through to a NFCCG game before the Cowboys. But calling Dallas pathetic? You do know they just had three consecutive 12-5 seasons. Granted no playoff success, but still.
The pathetic team in the division is by far the Giants.
I used to hate the Eagles but that fizzled out...
I know you can't see the west side of the stadium in that picture, but does anyone know how many parking spaces there were at RFK compared to the Landover stadium?
And it was so good to have the Metro station relatively close instead of a mile away.
We experienced Norvousness twenty years later in the form of Grudenitis.
Norv is a convenient pinata, but the fact is that the vast majority of the 20+ years after his departure sucked equally, if not worse.
With this front office and QB it isnt unreasonable to see a Lombardi in the next few years.
And it warms my heart to know that itll be Josh Harris receiving the trophy instead of that other guy.
RavensMania, regarding the 1991 Skins, I've always thought that team is underrated by even Skins fans because of the lack of a signature moment in the game itself against one of the NFC powers at the time. The 82 Skins had the Darryl Grant INT vs Dallas and of course the Riggins SB run. 83...
