is this Oline going to be the anchor for this team

Not at all. Our O line is so horrible they didn't have to call a lot of blitzes. They crumbled so instantly so often it looked like we were blitzing ourselves, it was terrible.

    The Positive Thread

How great will it be to kickoff today's game with the rest of the division sitting at 0-2?

Washington Is The Rodney Dangerfield Of The NFL

My issue isn't so much our rank, it's that we were ranked so much lower than a team we manhandled when they were projected to manhandle us. It reminds me of 2012. We had every reason to be ranked decently, but instead we were consistently ranked 15-20 almost all year. No matter how good we do...

Washington Is The Rodney Dangerfield Of The NFL

I understand they base a lot on last year, but it shouldn't be as big of a factor as it is. I remember one season (can't recall which at the moment) we had won 3 straight, and Dallas had lost 3 out of 4 I believe (may have been 2 out of 3) but we only moved up 2 spots, and they only dropped one...

Washington Is The Rodney Dangerfield Of The NFL

My son has become a true fan these past few years, and he's starting to see the lack of respect we always receive. His exact words to me were, "dad, how can everybody on ESPN and NFL network praise our defense so much and say we have the best line in the league, but when the power rankings come...

    The Positive Thread

My brother is a Cowboys fan. Before the games, he talked trash. Said we were garbage, Dallas would dominate, etc. After the games, he said I'm terrified to play you fuckers. That's positive enough for me.

    The Perfectly Elusive Perfect Burger

Years back my ex was a manager at five guys when they first came to the area. She needed help, so I started working mornings there to prep. The way they did their burgers was to individually weigh out each patty to 1/4 pound, roll it in a ball, stick it on a piece of wax paper, and mash it down...

WFT Names Jason Wright Team President

When I first saw the headlines today, my first thought was they hired him to pander to the BLM crowd. Purely based on how every single headline was worded. Then I read the articles and learned about the guy, and my thoughts immediately changed to thinking he's probably the best hire we've made...

    Random Thoughts

John, I just thought you'd like to know my dad is still rocking a BGO sticker you sent me about a decade ago, and I swear to you it looks just as good as the day I got it. I can honestly say it's the most high quality sticker I've ever seen. If you have any more laying around, I'd love to have...

I thought he'd never die. Hard to believe he was so young when he was in Cocoon.

Herman Cain, 74, Covid-19. Sadly, with his age and lengthy cancer history, I felt this was inevitable when he tested positive recently.

An unforseen side effect of the team name change

Something I noticed today that irked me. On the NFL app, on the second tab at the top where it used to say Redskins, it now says Football Team.

Going fishing with pops tomorrow. We used to go at least a couple of times a week, but this will be our first trip in over 4 years, and I'm really looking forward to it. Especially since the reports have been amazing. Pompano, roundhead, speckled trout, flounder, blue fish, spadefish, and very...
