2026 Off Season Activities / Camps

If you look closely, you can see that was a zone run. I'm so glad that we are moving to that. It's my favorite run offense
Gulbin isn’t a great zone fit with his foot speed. But maybe they think they can increase his foot speed with foot work mechanics.

.... also need to put him on the LaRon Landry "nutritional supplements"

Listening to Logan on Take Command he was saying the offense looked much different with more condensed formation, more multiple TE formations, motions and movements. Said they looked like a day one Kyle S or McVay offense compared to last year.

Also said the D did look more like the Minny D

This is Rookie Mini-Camp - right? There is literally nothing that can be assessed at this point other than how individual rookies generally look. I don't understand what Paulsen is talking about...

They supposedly ended with a bunch of 11 on 11s.

Yes - but it's a rookies-only minicamp (I think with a handful of 2nd year players). I don't understand why anyone would imply conclusions can be drawn about anything related to the eventual offense or defense. It seems beyond silly.

I suppose just seeing the QB under center might indicate a change or if they stacked the line? I don't know. Maybe it looked a little different than last year's 11 on 11s?

Unless I’m missing something, I don’t think it was an assessment, he was just relaying what he saw.

Now, to your point, we shouldn’t make determinations base off that info alone, but I think it’s safe to make an educated guess when you couple that observation with other factors - what coaches have said, the background of the coordinators, the personnel changes, etc.

He characterized it as 'looking like a day 1 Kyle Shanahan or McVay offense' according to Dwinzit. To be blunt (again), drawing any conclusions or even making comparisons based on a bunch of rookies running around - it's dumb. Even if it's Logan Paulsen doing it.
