The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

i'm happy. we made our defensive line functional and took the LB position, which was always a weakness, into a possible strength. no more tight ends circling us on their calendars, I hope.

WHo is sitting for him to play? Frankie?
They'll use all three backers on a routine basis. Maybe in a shifted front to set Luvu on the edge at times. Could shade the other way to put Styles on the edge, too.

Just be glad I don't have your number. My 'Skins buddy died a few months ago. I miss us bragging and complaining about our drafts and FA
Sorry to hear that, I'm always here for ya, if you'd like to talk I'll give you my #, just PM me.

Just me but I think Giants should’ve taken Styles over Reese. Harbaugh and his staff are proven and may wring the most out of Reese, but Styles would’ve been plug-and-play for them, even more freakish than Reese, and help their abysmal run defense while still having a huge role in pass defense. Maybe less pass rush. Maybe, depending on how Reese develops.

Very very happy to have Styles here, I would’ve worried that this staff would ruin Reese tbh. Styles just needs to be fired up and coached to search and destroy a little more

Well, I have concerns about how soft he tackles. But he does everything else and by all reports a great kid. And I'm not mad because Tate and Love are gone... so... It's a good day.
He will be getting coached by DQ, Jones, Norton Jr., playing beside Chenal, and Luvu. All dogs. Im sure they can bring it out of him
