So, am I imagining it or is the overall response to this new look mostly positive? That’s almost impossible given our history, but I think they’ve done it, and the key has been embracing that history as much as they realistically can. Rebuild RFK, go back to the uniforms we knew and loved, throw in a spear. Anything other than Redskins will fall short for some people, and I get that, but this all seems a sincere attempt to honor the past. That goes a long way with me and many others I’m sure.

Now I just need to know about the fight song . . .

Right direction, but I would like a new logo to tie it all together. I’m cool with leaning in to the whole Greco Roman and the spear is the right direction. Give me a shield and spear and have that be the logo, maybe a W in the shield.

I was excited for the rollout but kept the expectations low.
I’m still amazed at the fans mock-ups compared to the team’s graphic designers.
I mean fr, can’t they just hire a real dude(ette) to play around with some graphics instead of some dingleberry stacking clip art 😮‍💨

Anyways, I like it better than it was:

Hailraiser helmets - Overall it’s the right direction but needs tweaking, I was hoping for just the spear or something from “up their sleeve”, oh well.
I feel like it’ll change down the road or I’ll just get used to it just like the W.

NOS - actually liked the matte colors over the gloss but everything else is clean as can be.

No commanders wording is a big plus.

Room for improvement but good ‘nuff (for now)
Shading or 2 toning the spear would’ve gotten a better score from me.

I know that I'm probably the only one who isn't fully up to speed but can you guys confirm that these burgundy and gold unis are our full time home and away jerseys while the black is sn alternate and this is all we will wear for the near future, correct?

Those Commanders unis are done. The burgundy and gold are no longer SB era but they are full time except for the occasional black alternate, right?

Yeahhh ok as an original spear-thru-the-W hater, I will admit I’m coming around to the version released by the team.

The details lift the thing out of the depths of my scorn. Homage’s junk remains junk - the team did it right. Clouse said they approached this set with a fine toothed comb and it shows.

Room for improvement? Yes I think so, if we’re talking about the logo. But the redskins sets have appeased me and the hail raiser blacks have my kids fired up.

The problem with the sweatshirt we saw was that it looked monocromatic--just a yellow spear through a yellow outline. On the black background with the red W, it looks much better. I would have preferred they just went with a burgundy and gold spear, but whatever. It works.

Those white abominations will never not ignite an irrational rage in me. I honestly wonder if it was not a troll to drive a knife deeper into a fan base that loathed her husband. I am probably reading to much into it.

However, i will note that the tiny fraction of our fans that I have ever interacted with and indicated they liked the abominations, the vast majority I would not trust near my wallet, a sack of meth, or the elderly.

Yup, the bottom line is we saw it out of context initially. The logo has grown on me quickly, but not the way they presented it on that sweatshirt. I definitely won’t be buying one of those.
