The 2026 Free Agency Thread

From what I see about the Titans and Giants and others Love isn't likely to fall all the way down to #7 so I don't necessarily think he is a realistic option at this point until we see the board shake out.

In re the receivers, CeeDee Lamb was the #17 overall pick at WR but I think if you re-drafted that class he would necessarily rate higher.
Im going to be absolutely pissed if Love goes to the Giants.......Dear God if we can't get him let the Titans have him

Certain colleges produce disappointing players at certain positions in the draft over time until they don't and you find a guy that goes the distance. Each prospect has to be considered on the merits.

I remember all the **** about Michigan quarterbacks and then there was Tom Brady.

I'm still trying to imagine need versus what's available in picks 1-6 that Love wouldn't fall to 7.

My major concern with Wagner returning is that the organization seems to have overwhelming respect for him and a inclination not to have him take any plays off. Not even when a season is lost. Will they be willing to sit him in likely passing situations?

(Maybe that was due to the tackles number he was chasing but now that’s past.)
I think that's fair. I wonder if Daronte Jones holds Wagner in as much reverence as Whitt/Quinn did? Daronte seems to be all about teaching so maybe he needs a Wagner on the field less?

I don’t think so personally. Think he will be a very solid #2 in the league but we need a top dog and there isn’t one in this draft imo at WR. Draft more of an impact WR in next years draft. Really hoping we sign a couple WRs today to put that to rest.

There’s nobody that could be signed today that would prevent them from taking Tate at #7 if they like him more than you do. Even if they sign multiple guys.

I definitely don't want Wagner back. He is only going to be slower. Did you guys see either defenses compared to ours last year? It was like we were running in mud. I wanted Magee to play over him last year, let alone this year. He will only be a year older and slower. I was on the Dallas board and they wanted him. I hope they get him.

We already have Chenal, Magee, and even Luvu has to play more of the inside backer in the 3-4 so where does Wagner fit?

I still think he'd make an interesting linebackers coach or asst linebackers coach if he ever wanted to wear a whistle.

Yeah this is one of the last major concerns in my head, I don't know what they plan for Wagner. I love Bobby Wagner. He quickly fit that London Fletcher mold to me, which I always enjoyed. Just a guy you love to have on your team from a *personal* standpoint.

I guess the big question is, did Whitt/Quinn just fail at hiding whatever deficiencies Wagner has? It's happened before. It could be.

It would be a concern to me, for sure.

I got no problem missing out on Pierce, Linder, and Hendrick at their respective prices. I’ll take Chiasson at 12 over Trey at 2x30.

The ones I’m upset about are Doubs and Likely. Could easily have had them both. Get Jennings and Chig and it’s all good.

I wouldn’t. Trey + Oweh would’ve been sick. 2x30 for Trey was good value for the Ravens

Daniel Jones went to the Kirk Cousins academy for "Fleecing Teams with sometimes okay QB play."

Good for him. Shame he couldn't keep doing that in New York.

Kirk could actually play sometimes though. Jones is complete garbage without an elite RB tearing teams up.
