So, our strategy is to offer top money to Pierce and Linderbaum and then we decided like Goldilocks that the other porridge is too hot or too cold and we just walk away with nothing?

The third best free agent wide receiver after Pierce may be able to come in here and be a leading player for us on offense in 2026.

This team isn't thinking this out well.

The only guys taken that I had any interest in are Pierce and Likely. We made a larger offer to Pierce and he chose to take less to stay with his bff in Indy. We’re in it on Likely but drew a line. Cool, plenty of options left.

If you audit the thread, most of the guys everyone wanted are still on the board. I don’t want Phillips and Linder at damn near $30M.

Agreed but I think you’ve been anything but a harsh critic of this regime.

But at the same time I’m not sure you’ll actually be hard on this FO. Every move they make you’re on board with for the most part.

Maybe. Coaches aren’t pro personnel men, I’m sure we got Whitt some guys he identified as undervalued and potentially high-impact

But what you are doing is patting Peters on the back for what even average NFL GMs are supposed to be able to do, resign current roster players when there is more than enough cap room to do so.

I get literally crushed for wanting Tunsil re-upped… then they do it and they don’t get credit for it.
