Yeah that's why I am not in a panic. They are clearly willing to shell out money. 27 million for Linderbaum is crazy.

The WRs targets associated to them, all of them except for Pierce are still available. So is the TE. So are the CBs. So are the edges aside from Phillips.
 
Gainwell got 7M a year and I assume that's roughly where White will land.
 
I will go ahead and say this. If we don't come out of free agency with at least a MAJOR upgrade at either WR, TE, or RB, that would be total abject failure. I still think they may pull out a couple of moves that do that, but if they don't...

The only guys taken that I had any interest in are Pierce and Likely. We made a larger offer to Pierce and he chose to take less to stay with his bff in Indy. We’re in it on Likely but drew a line. Cool, plenty of options left.

If you audit the thread, most of the guys everyone wanted are still on the board. I don’t want Phillips and Linder at damn near $30M.

I’m gonna be a harsh critic on this offseason but it’s just wayyyyy to early to freak out.

It's weird granted. I heard they were close but didn't know they were that close until recently. Actually Standig talked about it some on Sheehan's show today.

Totally agree!! If we can just improve one freaking position group, RB, WR, DBs, or whatever then I'll be happy!!

Agree SIP, that Linderbaum deal only makes sense, just, to a team so awash with cap space like LV it’s background noise.

We certainly need to land a couple of those so called targets though.

It is. But it never hurts to do some light stretching now. We don't want to pull a hammy when the time to freak out really arrives.
 
30M for Pierce a bit rich but he was technically the top free agent so you gotta push chips in.

Onto the next few. Good to hear we were pursuing Pierce at all tho, means the plan isn't to just sign Aiyuk and call it a day.
