The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

Sonny Styles 10 yard split was 1.51? Daaaaaamn!

You know Daronte Jones is going to want to move him around and blitz him off the Edge at times. His testing is making him not just a MLB, but the type of versatile piece Jones will want.

Ah, both Reese and Styles had their official 40's move up a hair to 4.46, but the 10 yard splits did fall. Styles comes in at the still really good but not utterly mind boggling 1.56, and Reese is at 1.58

I'm coming around on Styles.

I'm also coming to terms with him being gone by 7.

Important thing is that the tape showed instant juice from both of them, and the combine backs it up. Although I wish Reese did jumps and both did agility. Maybe we'll get those at the Pro Day.

Man the bad news just keeps piling up tonight.

I had Styles tied for my top want with Love in the draft. Downs third.

With all of this going on it looks like it’ll be Love or Downs.

Winning that game against Philly is a gift that keeps giving.

Posted a few pages back that Styles was "seriously under consideration" for the Giants at 5. All good. An Edge moves down then.

This could change some things at the top of the draft

One of APs criteria was explosive, One thing Faulk is not is explosive
Disagree. Dude is 20 years old and absolutely the mold of an elite edge. Watch more tape. Especailly 2024 tape. They moved Faulk inside WAY to much. The scheme is not his fault.

He’s a project. But I like him. I said so when I first watched these guys. He is big time under appreciated here.
