Boy you're in a mood tonight.
Not at all. I’ve accepted that things are starting off poorly. I’m actually in a great mood. I find this entertaining. I am sorry you can’t find the fun in this shit show.

It really doesn’t feel much different than the Snyder years right now. This front office/coaching staff just screams we really don’t know what we are doing right now. Maybe Peters can sign and trade for some more former 49ers players. It’ll be like Ron and co. drafting Bama defensive players.

Maybe Quinn and co. can hire one of the posters here as a scout/analytics guy while we’re at it lol

I'm curious to know if Dan and Adam are receiving the cold shoulder from the more experienced coaches. I was worried that the current talent level and the poor season would scare off potential candidates.

That would be excellent except that he’ll be looking for (and receiving) a bridge starter job probably earning over $20M.

I know some people here have a weird emotional thing with Cousins (understandable), but he’d undoubtedly be an incredible backup and mentor for Jayden. And win some games when needed.

It’ll be interesting to see what Mariota does, though. Probably depends where Kliff lands, if anywhere.
It would be interesting, he would be a good backup and he should do it for free based on he amount the team paid him in the past

I'm very interested to see who they hire as a OL coach

Found him, he's awesome.

Doug Williams son hired as QB coach

This is a bit disheartening. Not a good look for Quinn or AP.
I gotta say, AP is taking a huge risk for himself in just completely delegating the coaching hires to Quinn. I mean, its one of the whole reasons you have a GM isnt it? Separation of powers.
If it doesnt work out it gonna look really poorly on him, not just Quinn, imo.

I wonder…does the nepo baby Falcons QB coach give us an inside track on the Falcons OL coach? He’s a stud apparently

Well well...ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Giants are expected to hire John Harbaugh as their next head coach.
It will be interesting to see how the chips fall now that the first one is going to be a mic drop, yuck

I also think that maybe they wanted the exact opposite for Blough than people think they should have. They don't want him looking over his shoulder and they don't want no old vet to make it seem like Blough is the kid who has to ask his subordinates everything.

They don't want to give the impression to the players that he's leaning on the old vets for advice because he's young and doesn't know what to do. Therefore you hire someone who you aren't threatened by and no one ever feels like he's teaching you or he's the one really running the show.

Hsrbiugh going to the Giants apparently. Honestly, I hate to see the division opponents getting great players and coaches is even worse. Harbough will be tough to deal with.

Bruce was the guy with the Bama fetish

Start looking for guys with less than 3 months experience and you’ll find our target.
BREAKING NEWS:

The Washington Commanders have named one of Joe Jacoby's spermatozoa as offensive line coach.

I saw this last night and thinking about it. On its face, it's a good hire. However, how often do extremely long term coaches go to a new team and are successful? Andy Reid, Don Shula?

Plus I think the Giants core is wildly overrated. Carter, Nabers, Burns, Thomas are good--I'd certainly take them. But Dart and Skattebo are mediocre at best--and Dart has three concussions already. Skattebo is a poor man's Payton Hillis.

Also Mara sucks.

Not keen on the fact that Harbaugh will also receive the #2 pick in the draft.

Good point about these moves failing some times. At a glance however, I feel we look like a D2 team.

I also see their roster as better than ours. It will be interesting to see if they can their GM

Giants have good talent. Weird how they don't win. Assume its coaching. But IMO more talented roster than this team.

I think Dart and Skattebo are tough as nails and ballers. I am not sure though if Dart is good? I think Skattebo is good but wondering about him post injury. But they both are fearless which is good and bad.

The national media and more so the NY media are treating Harbaugh like he's Lombardi. I can't recall so much hype for a coaching hire -- it dwarfs IMO even the Gibbs return. I think Harbaugh is good but not THAT good.

But what might work in his favor is he got the Giants to agree to pay whatever he wants for assistant coaches and I assume he's going to bring a sense of urgency to rebuilding that roster that Peters has not shared.

He's also getting full control, apparently. The good ol' coach centric model.

Maybe they never win because they're not that good. They have names.
