Stefanski to the Falcons sounds as reasonable as anything, but why would an aging has-been getting paid young currently-am money be seen as a selling point for him?

He probably brings Schwartz with him as DC and is considered one of the best run game minds in the NFL as well

Glenn Cook, the AGM in Cleveland, is considered a top GM candidate. We interviewed him in 2024 before hiring AP

Also Penix is probably out to start the season so Kirk is likely starting at the start of next season

Unpopular opinion,,but I say run it back one more year with Kliff, with hopefully a fully healthy roster and some shiny new toys! Whether those toys come from the draft or FA. Hail!!

Wonder why the difference in agreed to part ways versus fired?

I wonder if they talked it out and Kliff was going to be a lot more interested in leaving for a HC job. Parting ways now allows them to start interviewing, or even targeting coaches that are still in the postseason, instead of waiting weeks or even months to see if Kingsbury is going to get hired or not.

all this is doing is rearranging chairs on the titanic. Quinn is a slightly better Ron Rivera. Just get rid of the entire coaching staff and hit reset.

I'm not even sure how you can make this comparison. Ron Rivera was essentially the General Manager who didnt have a winning season here. Quinn still took us to the NFC Championship game last year after winning more than 10 games for the first time since 1991

Please let us find the next Joe Gibbs.

Well, I feel better that they are being aggressive. If you know you are likely losing Kingsbury better to part ways now. Who knows if they planned on parting ways regardless but I like them being quick and decisive.

Yeah i think I'm in the same place. I don't know that I agree with moving on, but to your point, i wonder if the 'mutual' part is more than just coach speak.

Would the Giants go after Kliffy? I do find it hard to see him as a HC

Yeah Peters is looking like a clown too in this situation. The more things change the more they stay the same.

I like Quinn and I think he's way better than Rivera but my faith in him is a complete toss up.

I do like this complete reset though, no excuses left, either bring in the right people now or pack your bags.

And that's fine, i have zero quibble with people who may have lost faith in him, I just refuse to put him and Rivera in the same bucket.

Galdi weighs in-

Yeah, but the space he designs in tight spaces fails to provide the necessary space for players to thrive in that space. Because the space within his space occupies a tangential space, he lacks the creative space required to produce in that space. The team must create space by removing him from the organization’s space to better utilize their available space.
