Official Game Thread - Week 18 - Commanders @ Eagles

Very short lived Cardinals lead.
Not surprising.

You’re also counting on the Cardinal beating the Rams? And is the hit rate on a 4th pick and 7th pick really “a big damn difference”?

Tankathon always seems silly to me, but I guess that’s what you get when you only win 4 games.

It’s not really just about hit rate, there are specific players coming out, and there are sure to be tier breaks throughout the top-10. Yeah I’d rather AP has the choice between 2-3 more players that high, in a vacuum

All the daydreamers who thought the Cardinals were gonna beat the rams can wake up now

We must have one of the worst goal line offenses in the league. It makes no sense with the personnel we have. This is an area where KK could improve.

Now we're staring down the barrell of worse case scenario where we win and get the worst possible pick and it doesn't make a shits bit of difference to the eagles because the bears have come all the way back.

I guess it wouldn't feel right to be a Washington fan if the worst case scenario didn't play out.

I don’t know, I still kind of like winning, especially in Philly. Plus the Josh Johnson story is cool, and it’s just good to see some of my favorite players and coaches have something to celebrate for a change.

But I also doubt the difference between the 5th and 7th pick amounts to much, so it’s easier for me to enjoy a win without feeling like we’ve paid a heavy price.

Low point of my fandom right now. You have your franchise QB and a top 5 pick in your pocket and you blow it by winning a meaningless fucking game. Now we get to hear Quinn tell us how important this "win" is for the future of the franchise. When in fact it hurts the franchise badly. Adding the fact they almost lost to our rivals backups makes it feel even worse. This franchise is still a clownshow. Nothing has changed. Nothing.

with 4th pick out of the question, i'm even more okay with making this entire thing backfire on sirianni.

Detroit just beat Chicago so Philly could have had the 2 seed
