Part of me wants him to sit out so we can continue losing, but the other part wants to see him get in a rhythm and get back to looking like the QB we saw last year, regardless of whether we win or lose.

I didnt get to see the game today. But it sounds horrific. I have leaned to play for sure if healthy but if that is a question at all then sit him. Saw the crawler say he reaggravated the injury, is that the case?

Horrific?

Well it wasn't as bad as the score indicated. (Jk)

I don't think anyone can ever say that ^^^ with a straight face in a shutout. It's always that bad.

If he wasn't 100% he shouldn't have been on the field, don't care about being cleared. He's clearly not 100%, shut him down.

Online is solid. Terry and Debo are available. It would be ridiculous not to play him. Mariota looks better. At least he can get the ball out of his hands.
Kliff's Offense is tailored to his strengths. You guys want to put him under center to protect him or just not play him at all?

If I am the owner I sit Daniels for the last 4 games.
No.

No. No. No.

You and I are usually pretty close in thought, BD, so I'm blown away you wrote the phrase "if I'm the owner" once, much less the twice I've already seen.

The only input Harris should have is to ask what his football guys are going to do. He made his decisions over a year ago when he hired Peters and Quinn. His on field decision making is over at this point unless he wants to make a FO or Coaching change. Period.

I do not want a return to the days of the former owner when football experts took orders from a guy who would be hard pressed to win a Jr High Fantasy Football league.

Good grief.

I voted to play him but I do that with the proviso that his also 100% healthy. That means no brace or tape on the elbow. No "ifs, ands, or buts" from the medical staff.

That means 100 effing percent healthy. Not so much as a sneeze out of him for a week.

Otherwise I play Marcus.

I also make a play to resign Marcus for next year right now. Get the new contract done before Christmas.

Yes but my reason is because I think Kliff is wrong for his development. I want a new OC so JD can start fresh with someone who will protect him more.

There’s too much unknown for any of us to really know.

Is he actually fully healthy? Or just putting on a good show with sweats on because he wants to play?

He didn’t look fully healthy to me.

Is he struggling mentally? Or was the offensive gameplan really that god awful?

Looked to be a combination of both. I felt like Kliff or Jayden should have had answers for the blitz and routinely had none.

At this point, I'm on the verge of being more like who cares. With that being said, no matter what side you are on, I think that the entire fanbase would like to see him here one good and healthy game.

He was still playing well all the way to the Chargers and Bears game. I didn't watch most of the game yesterday but for the most part he looked like he probably struggled throwing the ball and was favoring his arm every other play. Since the Bears game he hasn't looked good or healthy, bad wr play aside.

I would like to see him look good one more time again otherwise we go into the offseason with a complete question mark. It's like we will be hoping that he looks like last season or early this season while not being able to get past the fact he looks non elite anymore and an injury waiting to happen. I think that it's even hurting the psyche of the players and staff. No one knows how to judge him right now but with each game, it brings more doubt that did he peak as a rookie.

We got Maye maybe winning the MVP, Shedeur talking his spotlight, and more. I feel like he's even feeling a little unsure of himself right now and there is honestly nothing more annoying than watching someone who looks like they are about to die on every play. I don't want to see that. Just sit him if he can't play without all the theatrics

We will see what the team says on the injury front this week. But I expect if he plays in any of the upcoming games, they treat it like they did yesterday. If he looks to be in any danger or takes any hits that hurt, they will pull him out. Again, that’s only if he plays. But I would not expect to see him play a full game the rest of this season unless he is staying very clean back there.

Just think, we'll get another soft schedule next year and JD5 might once again look like a superstar. Then we have to redo his contract without fully knowing whether or not he can hang against the tougher teams in the league. Or................................we think about another rookie that doesn't give off RG3 vibes.

We've talked about this quite a bit. But today, you saw Daniels go down hard on the same left arm/elbow he recently dislocated. Is getting Jayden 'more experience' worth him possibly going down with a major injury, one that could impact his availability in season 3?

And how much is he 'learning' being on the field with this current roster and supporting cast?
I was in the "bubble wrap" camp, then went all wishy-washy...

Now I'm back in the "bubble wrap" camp.

And Redskinskinfan just chatted while she was walking her dogs...BUBBLE WRAP, ENGAGE.

And I'm not coming off this hill.

We've done this before, "all in for day one" bullshit.

I ain't goin' out like that. AGAIN.

He'll be working out, hopefully building some bulk with that Chunky Soup, and come back to be the QB we thought he was last season. His VR skills are solid. He works hard, and wants to be the face of the franchise.

Let him and his body get healthy.

If a guy can play they should probably play, qb included. Otherwise sit everybody. Never play them in preseason. Take everyone out the second it looks like we will win.
This is the first time its kind of the same injury. He couldve come back in.
If weve got to be skittish about him getting injured, its never going to be a good time to play him. Seasons are long
