SkinsFTW… where’s that snark from this afternoon about this team being 1 game out of first place and people acting like the team is 1-5?

If you didn't see this coming… after following football as long as you've been around… I’m not sure how you could trust your own judgement about football any more.

lol look at half our fanbase losing faith in JD5 already, pathetic.

This has less to do with JD and more to do with the team, which has been like this for decades. Though I will say I’m worried about JD’s health and increasing tendency to turn the ball over, he is still our best hope, it’s just hard for a longtime Washington fan to have much hope.

The defensive play caller is the worst part. Called it when he was hired that it was a mistake.

I didnt have an opinion on Whitt. I trusted everybody else’s who liked the hire.

But I was definitely anti-Kliff. And I still stick by it. This offense would function even better without him.

I will say, maybe more film on JD is helping teams defend him better this season. I mean the O line should've been better and he still has the same OC....but I do think something is off with him so far this season. 🤔

I posted weeks ago that something was off with this team. It certainly didn't have the magical aura that propelled us to the NFC Championship. Blame on a lot of things, but the main ones are the long hold out by Terry, and misjudging the roster talent because they needed to play in the preseason games to develop some chemistry. Finally, hiring an unproven play caller on defense cemented the fate for this squad.

I think you hit the nail on the head!!! Hopefully the front office will approach the off-season differently this year

It’s too bad I wasn’t around to rub his success in your face last season. Jumbo probably would’ve suspended me before that anyway lol. And Jayden lost us the game last week with that pathetic hand off. Maye is going to be a good one but he isn’t on Jayden’s level. He only took us further than any QB has in the last 30 years in his rookie season. Maybe you should go cheer for the Pats.

Today? It has been a theme all season

I disagree. All of the smaller QB's in the league are injured right now. Murray, Young and Daniels. While two 40 year old guys who are the tallest in the league are not. Rodgers and Flacco.

Murray is short, not small. He’s thick. There’s no reason being short would lead to injury proneness. Daniels is tall, so he’s more thin. Young is pretty small all around and has horrific pocket presence (which is what Murray has in common with him). Taking big or awkward hits to the legs in the pocket is almost always the reason these guys get hurt. Other than Tua (who is short but thick) who is a concussion magnet: Plenty of prototypical QB’s suffer injury, and there are a lot more of them. I named you a bunch of pocket passers of more prototypical size who have been more injured than most of the mobile guys.

Rodgers is 6’2” and for most of his career was only about 10 lbs heavier than RG3 at the same height. You’re letting confirmation bias guide your thoughts on this. The patterns you think you’re seeing are mostly made up. The fact that you think Rodgers is tall is a great example of that.
