Official Game Thread - Week 5 - Commanders @ Chargers

I don't know what to think sometimes because a lot of it is about attitude.

I've been in some very terrible situations in my life and I've always thought positive and strived for positive outcomes. Almost most of the times I have been successful.

The negativity around here sometimes drives me crazy.

Im usually overly optimistic when it comes to this team and i have to be reigned in by the more realistic people on the board but not in the game thread.
My emotions match exactly how the team looks at the moment, its always been that way and always will be.
I dont call for everybody to be fired but i do point out just how shitty or good the team is playing at any given moment, me personally i think for the most part thats what the game thread is for and all the posts before and after are for more level headedness.

I mean do you really expect people to post positive and encouraging things when the team is looking like ass in every possible way?

My opinion is that the game thread is for venting your gameday emotions both positive and negative as the flow of the game goes.
Do some people get carried away a little? Sure they do but i think ya gotta learn to just ignore it because i doubt its gonna change anytime soon.

True, but the cliff jumping from some when we give up big plays is pretty impressive (tbf, we all do it at times). We just have realise they are running the "bend and try not to break too often" D this season.

Kudos to the D today though, they impressed after a rough start, especially pleased for Mikey who had a bad start, and then a bounce back game. I doubt anyone saw that game unfolding like that, not after the opening quarter. I'm also still a bit giddy about that catch by Luke, that was something special.

Just because the team ‘is looking like ass’ doesn’t mean the fans have to show theirs. I suppose that emotional immaturity doesn’t extend beyond that. At least I hope it doesn’t. 🙃

Life is a journey. There are 4 quarters. I'm in the winter of my life so maybe it is just me
