Sad thing is they're one the last of my favorite bands still touring that sound good. All my favorite 90's bands lead singers are dead, save Eddie Vedder. GnR sound like crap, AC/DC too. Getting old sucks.

I had the chance to see GNR in Landover back in 2016 when they had the “Not in this Lifetime Tour”. Alice In Chains opened for them as well. Both were great that night and Axl sounded the best he had sounded in years on that tour.

I think now it’s just been almost 10 years and age is finally catching up to them as well. It’s not about taking care of yourself anymore. It’s just that they’re old lol. Not quite current Vince Neil bad…but bad.

Yeah, they use them as alternates this year, ( Could actually be used four times if I'm not mistaken ), the calls for them to use them full-time will just grow louder.
Good news if true.

I imagine these will be the white uniforms, ( and weve seen no recent pictures of any of our new players in white jerseys ), but would they start using white for home games in 2026, because if so, that would actually mean we'd be wearing those uniforms 14 or 15 times a year. We would only wear burgundy jerseys on the road against teams that wore white at home.

If you believe Sheehan (who is claiming a source, and as far as I know he is friendly with Mark Ein who I suppose would know) it's an alternate in 2025, then the primary in 2026.

I'd be surprised if he would put this out if he didn't have cause to believe it.

Maybe it's a back door way to get back to normal. First the uniforms. Them maybe a spear on the helmet, or the old logo. "Touchdown Washington Commanders" just doesn't have the same ring as "Touchdoooown.......... Washington Redskins"

Yes, it’s tough but expectations should be tempered. I will say there is no way they used that spear by accident in the media day photos though. I refuse to believe that was just coincidence.

Here's an idea, and I'm just spitballin' here: Over the next couple seasons we gradually move towards our white jersey uniforms being what's refered to as " Gibbs era " uniforms ( " W " helmets ) and our burgundy jersey uniforms being some variation of the spear and feather uniforms. Teams are allowed three helmets now.

I think this would go a long way towards appeasing a large portion of the fanbase, as far as uniforms go anyway.
