2023 - OTA/Camp thread

Make me jealous. Have a great time!

Howell had a pick yesterday, too, but he came right back with a dime on a deep route.

Hopefully he's trying things he hasn't before or just getting a feel for the speed

Brand new offense so I think on top of his inexperience, that'll create some issues early on with timing...

We have a couple of preseason darlings who need to emerge. The other one that comes to mind is Cole Turner. Tight end is a place on the roster where we need a player to emerge and surprise.

It's that weird balance of wanting our first round CB to shine, but also needing our QB to be perfect. I get the sense that Howell is a bit of a gunslinger. That means more big plays and probably more big mistakes. The question on the ints is why did they happen and are they correctable.

I think this is not a huge deal yet as our defense is likely many steps ahead of the offense. New system, new QB, 3 new starters on o line with a 4th changing position. This defense has the talent to make a lot of offenses look bad

Until the pads go on the defense should dominate. The OL cannot compete athletically under the current conditions and there has been no run game installation yet. Pretty easy for the defense to disrupt things.

Losing any of the experienced OL guys would be a disaster. Hope it's just something minor.

I'd be in support of, after Chase Young shows he is healthy in camp, trading him for a pair of solid OL guys. We lack depth there, especially experienced depth.

That was a very bad throw. Way behind him

Yeah put that one in the category of ‘don’t do that again’

Commanders ain’t messing around. I think they had to make a point for someone broadcasting from the team facility as the official broadcasting partner. I think it was a bit of a big reaction, but I 100% understand the severity of the move

Dumbasses. This isn't the days of Howard Stern anymore. Those kinds of jokes are funny if you have the audience for it ...not a public one
