2021 Roster Updates

a lot of that could happen...

we could easily say the Giants beat us twice last year and if Golladay and Barkeley are both on the field it's a much better team in 2021 than it was in 2020.

Those are 'IF's' so it could go a couple different directions...

Hate to beat a dead horse - but we’ve lost 5 of the last 6 to the Giants and never beaten Daniel Jones. Even the one game you mentioned, a kick instead of going for 2 only gets us OT, not necessarily the win. We get their best version almost every time and the record speaks for itself. Until we show we can consistently beat the Giants I’m not minimizing them as an opponent.

we went 14-2 and lost to the Cowbums....

We go on to win the super bowl and they are in the basement. Records don't mean anything.

Haskins was the QB against the Gnats and the D was gassed out there. That matters as much as anything else.

Galladay is no better than Golden Taint at this stage. He has done nothing to make me worried about him. Leonard Williams puts more fear in me than that dude does.

I'll reiterate my take on the Giants here too ... division opponent! There are no easy outs.

Games are always tight, calls and balls always seems to bounce their way.

The Giants always play us tough, lately have been total WFT killers.

I take the Giants---hell, I take everyone---seriously until we're routinely posting winning seasons again.

Thought this was kind of old news... maybe it just went official today?

I fear walking outside and being sniped by a Russian than I do the Gnats.

My point in criticizing the Giants is many of their moves in recent years have been very expensive vis a vis the value they are getting on the field.

Under the cap that gets you sooner rather than later.

Jones and Barkley may have talent but taken at #2 and #6 overall?

I don’t see either player becoming a Justin Herbert or Chase Young type young franchise player.

Again, Golladay is a nice player but they paid through the nose in a down market for receivers.

Is he top 5?

To me more in that 8-9 range.

This team once again has quietly positioned itself to be able to upgrade pretty much any position on the roster while not being completely desperate at any either as long as we add OT and LB at some point in the draft. BPA is legitimately on the table across the entire draft and we stand to benefit from it. Roster compilation has eluded us for years where we add a big stick while neglecting the back end... and we wonder why depth has been an issue..

Wow, i swear I heard a group of guys on a podcast talking about him potentially coming back here...

Cincy is just the kind of shitty team that will sign him as a starter and he will leave.

Not gonna be happy if he does.

And he will play 75% of the snaps on a bad defense instead of 35% on a top 5 defense

Agreed. I get that he probably wants one last big paycheck and to start, but I will miss him if he leaves.

Although, Ohio is an amazing/cheap place to retire

there is the "big body" WR that Om was speaking about.

I really hope he's not just another version of Cam Sims....

Analysis out of New England is not pretty.

Harry looks like Josh Doctson circa 2018, when we realized it just wasn’t injuries that was keeping him back.

This is a great comparison. I feel like I’m watching the same guy when I see Harry play. All the potential in the world doesn’t matter if you can’t get it done on the field.

JuJu gets $8mil
TY Hilton gets $10mil

we can't afford that so we're looking at.....Harry?

Really?!

Very possible... Smith was in the scouting department for a long time, but he was not in charge of the room when we drafted Moreau... i dont think....
