Random Commanders Thoughts

It's the Cowboys :spy:

At any one time the NFL has 4 or 5 ex-FBI investigators chasing down stories about players on the Dallas roster.

With Romo back they may be one of the most improved teams in 2016, but they also qualify as one with the most suspended players in recent memory.

Couldn't happen to a nicer team.

Goodell very well may swing the pendulum too far in the other direction and come down HARD on this one. He was excoriated after the Ray Rice debacle, and there is some solid proof that Elliott did this, the suspension could be breathtaking.

Time to suit up, Alfred.

Not to Bragg, but there are only this many days left before Redskins Training Camp 2016:

I'm getting a kick out of this. How many days 'til Redskins Training Camp 2016?

Taylor Mays was released today. Should the Skins show any interest at the vet minimum?

Will he play special teams? He looks to be the same position that Su'a Cravens will probably be at this point in his career, you want him battling for the rookie's spot?

Another Tandler tidbit
.... kinda what we all saw but with numbers, scary stuff, hope the d-line improves or better backer play gets it going.

5.0—The average gain on a first-down rushing attempt against the Redskins last year.

That was the worst performance in the league on first-down rushing defense by far. In fact, two players, Chris Ivory of the Jets and Devonta Freeman of the Falcons, had over 100 yards against Washington on first down carries alone. If the other team can hand off and have second and five on average it’s going to be a long day for the defense.

3.3—The Redskins’ average gain on first-down rushing attempts on offense.

You may be able to guess that that is the worst first-down rushing average in the league. It’s a passing league but you need to be able to run the ball better than that if you’re going to be successful.

"Strike first! Strike hard! No mercy, SIR!"

Its kind of cool yet a bit scary to see predictions from those publications so close to mine, especially after getting so pissed at them over the years! Probably should acknowledge that often they were much more correct than I was.

For us here though, Our barometer must be TR1. Is he on board yet? lol

Damn! Awful news.

Junior Galette has torn his other achilles. Out for the year.

Damn galette must've pissed off the karma police

Well shit. That changes the outlook for the 2016 D considerably ... they were counting on him big time in the pass rush.

Redskins LB Junior Galette tears Achilles, will miss season - Richmond Times-Dispatch: Redskins XTRA

Washington Redskins linebacker Junior Galette will once again miss an entire season due to injury.
Galette, who was signed by the Redskins during last year's training camp, still hasn't played a down with the team.

He missed the 2015 season with a torn Achilles tendon, and reported on his Twitter page Monday that he would miss this year as well. Yahoo sports reported that Galette once again tore his Achilles, a season-ending injury.

"Haven't felt so good best shape of my life and this happens to me now," Galette wrote on Twitter, accompanied by a video of him working out. "(I don't know) what else to so when does da rain stop."

Galette was supposed to be a crucial piece of the Redskins pass rush, alongside Redskins veteran Ryan Kerrigan...

That blows chunks.

I was having visions of Galette, Kerrigan and Preston rag-dollin' Eli, Romo and whoever the eff the Eagles are trotting out.

Damn it.
