Mr.Cox, I suppose I should, as a Redskins fan, offer my apologies and/or condolences on the Redskins having failed to live up to your presumed level of both Eagles greatness and Skins ineptitude by publicly embarrassing your team-at home.

I suppose, I should...but....I won't.

S**k it Cox, we beat your team in your hood, acorn-head, won the NFCE and are going to the playoffs. Enjoy sitting at home and watching us.

BB said it during chat, the final TD drive where Pierre Thomas and Morris ran it down their throats was a championship drive. It was what I envision a winning football team does.
 
This was a great game. We went in and won that game. We took it from them in their home. Dashed their hopes and the Giants hope. There's a chance the HC's of those two teams just lost there jobs with our win. We are going into the playoffs with the team peaking. Will it be good enough for a run in the playoffs? I think the woes in the running game catch up to us. But we are finally trending upwards in a way that seems genuine. Still a lot of work to do and by no means are we a top tier team yet, but it's coming.
 
So, I was scrolling through some social media sites and I saw a link for Top Free Agents in 2016. No need to go searching through...we're going to the playoffs. Last year and the year before? Yeah, would have been in there 3 or 4 weeks ago.
 
The problem that now arises is do we re-sign Cousins long term, or do we take the hit and release RGIII? A clause in his (RGIII) contract is that he can only be released due to an injury, but he has an option for another year. If we release him and take the hit, will it be worth it, or do we re-sign him and immediately put him up for trade? Do we let Cousins test out FA, along with Colt, or do we re-sign one or both?

Cowboys fans, saddened and sickened by my "You like that" question. They congratulate me and my team for making the playoffs.

Eagles fans telling me that we earned that win and championship.

Then NFL network has the game replay 4 different times during my shift.

Do I like that? Yes sir!

It's the other way around. RGIII can be released with zero cap hit for 2016. If he gets injured, that's when he cannot be released.

I might be wrong but the option was taken on Griff this year for 2016, the 16M for next year (team option) is guaranteed only if Griff makes the roster or could not play because of injury, if he's cut without injury there is no hit at all.

The thinking is (for now)...

Griff is gone to FA, Kirk gets signed or tagged, of the two the only money committed to the position is to Kirk
 
The melt down of the Giants at the end of the season on the field in terms of wins/losses and the Beckham situation also has made me smile :D
