I think the way you are putting it is distorted. He missed a couple games in 2012, but only a couple. He tore his ACL and MCL and STILL didn't miss a game (due to health) in 2013. This year is the first year he will miss significant time due to injury.

That is the truth.

Shanny had essentially given up by that time & I don't know that anyone truly knows what he was thinking. I have serious doubts that he believed he would be back for this season, so maybe he was thinking in terms of sparing RG3's health in some way because he knew he couldn't keep him upright with that OLine...? Either way, RG3's health was not in question at that point.

Hmmm, added Crawford back and picked up a safety who has starting experience to fill the 2 vacant roster spots. W/o the addition of a TE, maybe this means that some combination of Reed/Paul will be OK enough to play. Otherwise, Paulsen is the only active TE going into the Seahags game.

After buying 5 or 6 RG3 jerseys for family members and myself after his first year, I'm done with current players for good.

Yep, I will not buy another current player's jersey either. My wife bought me a Griffin one in 2012, I would have bought it anyways I'm sure, but now I have learned my lesson.

We also resigned Gabe Miller to the PS. We converted him to a LB, but was a TE before. While he'd be more of the Paulson type, he might be able to fill in in a pinch.
 
OT: Looks like the Patriots run is over.

Chiefs mopping the floor with them in all phases of the game.
 
is it just me or do the Skins have too many days off after that egg they just laid?

I don't know, but I'm always seeing teams coming off wins getting the "extra" day off, but it seems like we get that extra day win or lose. I feel like that's been the case with every coach that's been here, really.

Is it just me? Am I wrong there, I'm honestly wondering?
 
They are decimated by injuries ... Every extra day they have is a plus. We might even get some starters back out there.
