The Redskins drafted and signed a number of players who have returned kicks including Breeland and Hoffman as well as others like Seastrunk that are asking for a shot there.

My guess is we won't have a 35 year old wide receiver returning kicks at $1M plus when these other guys are going to cost $400K.

Hey, if they can get the job done, great. Jackson is a game changer on returns. Maybe we an throw him back there like we did Moss in a couple key spots, but we also cant have a putrid special teams output like we did last year... if the drop off from him to the next guy in line goes from a strength to a liability, I cant agree that he shouldn't be back there.

As long as he carries the football all the way over the goal line, I'm fine with Jackson returning punts.

I was harking back to the original thread title ''Which Redskins will be the biggest shocker to be cut in August ?'' and countering a majority vote who are currently suggesting Moss would be the biggest 'shock' cut.

My point is that he would not be a shock cut, based on his production drop-off and the guys they're currently looking at.

By the criteria of the vote, all things considered, I would not be at all shocked should Santana be cut.

I agree.

I'm looking at it from the emotional angle. It would be a surprise not to have Santana in the locker room.

Santana Moss is this year's London Fletcher - on the roster more for his contributions off the field than on it.

If you think that Santana Moss is a goner come September, think again. I asked Jay Gruden about him and the coach said, “I like having guys like that, veteran guys who are great examples for rookies and also can help you win in big games.” Sounds like a pretty strong endorsement to me.

I think we all want him here...I think we all agree he is a leader.

I think we all part ways when it comes to if his on the field contributions can match those of younger guys.

I dont know anymore...I know that i WANT him to be there and be on the train. He deserves it after all those years on those shitty teams. But if someone like Grant comes in and blows the doors off of him....well, I cant justify my heart strings.

You're preaching to the choir on this one. I've been arguing that for a while.

Whoever are the 3 guys voted for Hankerson are the winners.
Plus me and Mike for being the only ones who insisted Moss would make the team.

Then again, technically the Hankerson voters aren't winners, since he's still on PUP

You blow hards! Boone said it before either of you!

That's not really a bold prediction. When has Moss not made the team??? He's at least 10 for 10 so far :D

The argument was never 'IF' Moss would make the team, it was whether or not he 'SHOULD' make the team. I'd have moved on and kept a youngster like Lache, but that's me.

I'm not one to talk shit or call people names...

But that ****head chooch elephant was wrong!

I'm very happy moss is here but I don't care to act superior. Except to that ugly sumumabitch elephant who can go chooch himself!
