I thought I saw in the transcript from the Haslett interview a few days ago that they had Kerrigan line up at the DE position and brought Jenkins in as the OLB with Rak at the other OLB position in the game against the Titans. I think he even suggested that with 3 quality rush specialists like these guys, "you'd" have to line them up a few times a game.

I believe both Kerrigan's and Rak's sacks in the Titans game came when all three were on the field.
 
Anyone else see the exchange between Shanahan and Griffin pre game? Zero animosity there, they look like old friends.

Run defense looks very good early.
 
Is Hankerson finally getting it or did was that game a flash in the pan?

Five thoughts: (1) Ryan Kerrigan's stellar preseason continued. He's got 2 sacks, two takeaways and a TD in parts of 3 quarters this August.

Five thoughts: (2) Barry Cofield dominated before suffering broken bond in his hand (shouldn't miss regular season action). Took over at NT.

Five thoughts: (3) Roy Helu's stock continues to rise. His only carry of the night went for a 30-yd TD. Sure, it was a good call, big hole.

Five thoughts: (4) #Redskins rookies Jordan Reed & Chris Thompson had forgettable moments. Reed (drop, route on INT) & Thompson (fumble).

Five thoughts: (5) #Redskins may have dodged a few bullets. Most of injured players think issues are minor. Kirk Cousins to be re-evaluated.
 
"Foot sprain" seems like one of those nagging injuries that can bother a guy all season. Hope Kirk can get past it.
