Chris Russell said anyone who thinks they are waiting that long is foolish. But yes, the lease expires in 2027.

There is a good argument to be made that Russell is a dope so who knows.

I dread a new stadium. Will probably mean the end of me as a season ticket holder and many others too. Depends on if they go with psl's and hike prices like new York and Dallas did.

Yeah it would be silly to think they would stay in the current situation through 2027 but that's the lease. As you know it will take money and some other compensation when that lease gets broken. A new stadium has been in the works since they unveiled Jerry-world... you can bank on that.

I gotta say I hate that the team moved to Richmond! I am likely not going to be able to get down there to take images...apologies in advance guys.

That stadium sucks. Its never had a real "feel" to it or tradition worth worrying about.

We all miss RFK. Who will miss Fed Ex field?

I disagree that it sucks. Its certainly nothing special like RFK, its a cookie cuter boring design. I think most people project the badness of the teams that played there onto the quality of the stadium. Can't really blame them, if you go watch a bad team year after year you're going to hate the whole experience.

The only really bad thing is the traffic. It doesn't bother me because I go enough to know when to leave, where to park, what roads to take to avoid it. Its certainly not a novice friendly place for traffic.

That's just my opinion though and to be honest I have not been in any other football stadiums. I may be naive and seeing a few others may really change my mind.

I hope the new one has some sort of unique design and the team is good when they move there to start it off right.

It will be interesting to see how this unfolds over the next couple of weeks. The past couple of training camps it seemed the defense had the upper hand early. This could be good news for our offense, even minus RG3.

Players who are having a really solid camp thus far...

Baccari Rambo - He could have the FS position locked up very soon.

Skye Dawson - The UDFA WR is having an outstanding camp thus far. Did the Redskins get a diamond in the rough?

David Amerson - His size is really paying in drills against the first team offense.

Kai Forbath - It looks like the kicking woes of the past are nothing but a memory now.

Leonard Hankerson - Despite the one drop that some are focusing on, he is having a very good camp too.

He's been in the league... 2 years. There is a very good reason for the three year rule. (Hint: because its accurate).

I'm just willing to give him the full three years, whereas others are..... not. Its a good thing the jets didn't give up on Santana Moss after two unspectacular years, or we may have never had the Monday night miracle!

Just watched the Skins' v Dallas games earlier today and I cannot stop thinking what a steal we got w/ Logan Paulsen. He was involved in almost every rushing TD or crucial first down...mostly blocking but some key catches.

He may not be a Pro Bowl TE, but he was a steal.

Oh, I agree. Year three is make or break for young WRs. He needs to put up or get out, this year. But some are already writing him off as "bust" and a "bum" - that's just inaccurate. I on the other hand have seen signs that he can progress to the next level, and am excited to see if he can do so! Lets go Hank!
