Your Washington Capitals 2010-2011 Schedule Release Party Thread

Schedule comes out today in about 7 minutes. They've already announced the home-opener, vs. New Jersey on October 9th (dang it, I'll be in Orlando).

Also some rumors of Semin getting traded floating around - including a monster rumor of Semin for Martin Brodeur straight up, which I'm strongly against. Yes, Brodeur is a hall of fame goalie, but I'd like to call up Neuvirth and see what a pairing of he and Varlamov can do. Neuvy was very solid in Hershey's recent Calder Cup win.

Also, if you haven't heard by now, the Caps will face the Penguins in Pittsburgh on January 1st, 2011, in the Bridgestone Winter Classic - the 4th annual outdoor game (to be played at the Pittsburgh Steelers' Heinz Field).
