Heh, even some of the local guys are getting a little embarrassed by the firestorm the media has made of "the great schism of '13"

I remember my Mom watching soap operas back in the day (yeah, black and white) and couldn't figure the appeal of keeping track of situational angst coupled with over-reaction day after day.....I think I now understand it...... a little.

Shanahan is playing his cards perfectly throughout this entire situation.

Not only does it make Robert hungrier to perform and say "I told you so," but it also will create a situation where his teammates will want to run through a wall for him beginning in Week 1 when they hopefully see him take the field vs. Philly.

Guys playing for one another on a football team can lead to great things as we all know.
