Joseph Scott Galloway (born November 20, 1971 in Bellaire, Ohio) is an American football wide receiver for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks eighth overall in the 1995 NFL Draft. He played college football at Ohio State.

A four-time Pro Bowl alternate, Galloway has also played for the Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, and Pittsburgh Steelers...

Report: Joey Galloway signed by Redskins
Updated at 9:54 p.m.:

The Redskins have agreed to terms with veteran wide receiver Joey Galloway, according to a league source.

Galloway, 38, is a 15-year veteran who would provide leadership for a mostly young receiving corps if he makes the roster. He signed a one-year deal with the team, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Galloway began last season with New England but played in only three games and was released in October. Pittsburgh picked him up late in December but he didn't appear in any games for the Steelers.

Galloway, who is joining his sixth NFL team, was with the Buccaneers when Redskins General Manager Bruce Allen was running Tampa Bay's front office.

what I would like to know is can Joey Galloway still run? :)

his reps declined markedly his last year in Tampa and then he was in NE for a cup of coffee, but was that based on his age, his hands or his speed?

James Lofton could still run a 4.4 40 at age 37 and ended up playing in the Super Bowl for Buffalo after a lot of people thought he was done.

I am not that optimistic about Galloway given that New England cut him in mid-season, but no one has really stepped up to talk about where Joey is now physically.
