They'll need that. With all the idiot drivers that are already out there, I imagine something like this hover car would be too much for a lot of people to handle.

Cool idea though, although I see it requires special roads that generate electromagnetic fields. I wonder how much those cost an how long it would take to install those. Might work for cities, but out in the country it'll never happen.

I wonder how the long term cost for maintenance compares to our current roads. I bet it wouldn't be long before the special roads would become way more cost effective.
