  • After the Library of Congress recently uncovered video of the 1924 World Series pitting the Washington Senators against the New York Giants, Keith reads highlights for the deciding Game 7 of the series.
 
So cool to see this footage. Firstly, this is Griffith Stadium, which would become the home field for the fledling Washington Redskins just 13 years later in 1937. Secondly, seeing the fans rush the field at the end - and that nothing in fandom has really changed, the passion, excitement, and yearning for glory - I just think that is beyond cool!
