Can anyone recommend a good travel site. Not a site to book travel, but a site that tells me details about destinations to help me decide whether to go there, and what to do while there. I'm trying to make up mind where to go on a trip, and I want to go somewhere I've never been, which means of course, dealing with a place I'm unfamiliar with, so I need expert, reliable help. Any site suggestions ?

www.tripadvisor.com is a great resource. Used it heavily for my trip to Belize, and had a blast. They have forums that discuss locations and what to do, as well as hotel/lodging & restaurant rankings.
