Could Shanny be that concerned about a QB injury that he just won't part with Rex. I mean hell, you could cut him, and bring him back if needed. It's not like any team would jump at the chance to pick him up.

I personally don't think it's a 'football decision' - that's what bothers me about it. Kyle and Grossman are friends and I think it's just too personally painful to let him go. Just wild speculation on my part though.
