I wasn’t a huge supporter for warriors, but there’s a broader range of logos to choose from if they’d have gone that route, at least I think. But we’re stuck with cmdrs 🫤

I managed a sports apparel/fan shop for several years back in the 90's, and have remained friends with the owners. Ran into one of them yesterday, and he says that there is an alternate WHITE uniform coming for this season. He hasn't seen it, but that is what he is being told by his suppliers. So we'll see...maybe something that looks like the old 'Skins jerseys?

He also said that the burgundy Commanders replica helmets that they sell are far and away the most expensive, because apparently some very unique process is used to get that matte burgundy to look like it does. Pretty cool.

I don't think it would fly with current jersey rules, but maybe the team could get permission from the league to try something different. I also know how many fans hate the idea of importing soccer culture into the NFL, but....

Each team releases a new set of jerseys each year. Yes, they keep the same logo... but it allows the teams to create a more flexible brand identity. It feels like our team could benefit from a similar approach... allow them to experiment a bit from year to year, until there is some organic development of a theme / identity.

Edit: In addition, there is the added benefit of boosting jersey sales through more frequent new jersey drops

I don't mind the 'Raise Hail' slogan. But the font looks like something the Nazi's would use to me, lol... This 'brand' is so confusing, quasi-military, quasi-Redskins lineage, quasi-medieval, they have no idea what the name means, lol...

I think if you sent this via tweet to Keim, JP Finlay, BMitch or someone like that, it might find its way inside the building. These uniforms are infinitely better than the dreadful ones we're currently using. Maybe add in another helmet option (variation on the seal).

He didn't.

But I was in there the week before the NFCCG to try and get my son a knit cap for the game, and they were out of basically everything Commanders. And I know they sold TONS of Daniels jerseys, as you all know (my son was on a waiting list for one).

I live in the heart of Eagles & Steelers country here in central PA, but we're close enough to Carlisle, so there still is a sliver of us locals hanging on!

It’s such a low bar to top the Tonya Ta-duhs I don’t think you have to worry.

Just give me something true Burgundy without “commanders” on it.

I am too old school and way too attached to the past. I don’t like the “W” logo or the all black uniforms.

I think the team would be smart to bring back one or some of the old logos. This may appease many of the old timers who missed the original name.

I don’t think any of them are coming back.

I hate the W as a logo. I want something new. I get there are other teams that use just the city letters, but I just find it weak sauce.

That’s my biggest problem with the brand. Figuring out what a Commander is leaves you with a problem. Same issue the Titans had, and they ended up with a stupid flaming thumbtack.

I keep trying to think of what a commander could be, and the best I can do is a silhouette of a person in some generic uniform or something. The brand was meant to be a tribute to the military, so lean into it. That’s the best I got.

I know. I was just using it as a jumping off point to what could be next.

For the helmet, I'd use some variation on the crest. Maybe replace that lazy 'W' with a cool 'DC' or a football, and remove the championship years. Or maybe having the W there is okay, since it's no longer prominent.
